Guillemets ( /ˈɡɪləmɛt/, or /ɡiːəˈmeɪ/, French: ), also called angle quotes or French quotation marks, are polylines, pointed as if arrows (« or »), sometimes forming a complementary set of punctuation marks used as a form of quotation mark.
