Youth Academy
The 2011/2012 season was good year for both the senior and youth team completing the double, with both teams winning there respected leagues. The Youth team which had struggled in previous years to work their way anywhere near the top of the league finally won and won in style. With a promising start to season with several new players making their debuts, strengthening the squad, Guildford City Youth were the team to beat. On Wednesday 2ND March with both Second and Thirds results going Guildford’s way, City was crowned champions for the first year ever. They had only lost one game, drawn three and won 14, they had the best defensive record between the three southern youth leagues, conceding only 16 goals in 18 matches and scored a mighty 55 goals, with 15 goals from the league’s top goal scorer.
