The station is served by London Midland, who operate services in the West Midlands, as well as semi-fast services on the West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Liverpool.
Cross City trains are operated by Class 323 electrical multiple units. The station is served by six trains an hour in each direction, with an average journey time to Birmingham New Street of around 11 minutes.
