George Hickenlooper - Death

Death

Hickenlooper died in his sleep on October 29, 2010. Despite initial reports that Hickenlooper had suffered a heart attack, the coroner ruled that his death was the result of accidental painkiller overdose, combining oxymorphone with alcohol. Sleep apnea and a "moderately enlarged heart" were contributing factors. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, son Charles, a younger brother, and his mother and father.

Famous quotes containing the word death:

At noon, you walk across a river. It is dry, with not this much water: it is just stones and pebbles. But it rains cats and dogs in the mountains, and towards afternoon, the water descends wildly and she ravages all in its path, the madwoman. That is how death comes. Without our expecting it, and we cannot do a thing against it, brothers.
    Jacques Roumain (1907–1945)

If society gives up the right to impose the death penalty, then self help will appear again and personal vendettas will be around the corner.
    Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)

An “unemployed” existence is a worse negation of life than death itself.
    José Ortega Y Gasset (1883–1955)
