Friend or Foe (song)

Friend Or Foe (song)

"Friend or Foe" is t.A.T.u.'s second single from Dangerous and Moving, released in December 2005. For the single, t.A.T.u collaborated with some big names from the rock world. Dave Stewart has a hand in writing the single, Sting plays bass on the track and Bryan Adams has shot the striking cover sleeve. Music and lyrics by Martin Kierszenbaum and Dave Stewart.

The song features ambiguous lyrics; it is unclear who exactly the words are directed at. "Friend or Foe" was the last single taken from "Dangerous and Moving" to be released in the United Kingdom. It also failed to enter US and others countries due to being realised only in remixes versions. It peaked at 16 in Russia with a remix version.

Famous quotes containing the words friend and/or foe:

A friend of mine spoke of books that are dedicated like this: “To my wife, by whose helpful criticism ...” and so on. He said the dedication should really read: “To my wife. If it had not been for her continual criticism and persistent nagging doubt as to my ability, this book would have appeared in Harper’s instead of The Hardware Age.”
    Brenda Ueland (1891–1985)

Let’s not quibble! I’m the foe of moderation, the champion of excess. If I may lift a line from a die-hard whose identity is lost in the shuffle, “I’d rather be strongly wrong than weakly right.”
    Tallulah Bankhead (1903–1968)
