Fremantle Football Club - Membership Base

Membership Base

Despite a relative lack of on-field success, Fremantle has surprised many with record membership figures. The club in 2005 had the fastest growing membership in the AFL competition with home crowds growing at a similar rate. The club's recent membership slogans have emphasised the passion of Fremantle fans for their team.

Famous quotes containing the words membership and/or base:

    The two real political parties in America are the Winners and the Losers. The people don’t acknowledge this. They claim membership in two imaginary parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, instead.
    Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (b. 1922)

    Then must you speak
    Of one the lov’d not wisely but too well;
    Of one not easily jealous, but, being wrought,
    Perplex’d in the extreme; of one whose hand,
    Like the base Indian, threw a pearl away
    Richer than all his tribe;
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
