Fred Coury - The Professional Years

The Professional Years

Coury has played in other bands including London. In 1991 Coury left Cinderella and joined Stephen Pearcy of Ratt to form Arcade. He also briefly substituted for Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler in 1988 when health issues forced Adler off the road. Coury re-joined Cinderella after Arcade folded. In the summer of 2006, Coury and Cinderella joined Poison on a joint 20th anniversary tour. Coury also filled in for Rikki Rockett during Poison slot on the Songs from the Sparkle Lounge Tour on July 15, 2009 due to the fact that Rikki had a newborn baby the day before. Coury spends his time in Los Angeles in his recording studio Double Forte Music composing and performing music for television. He also composes music, including the goal song, for the Los Angeles Kings hockey team.

Famous quotes containing the words professional and/or years:

So-called professional mathematicians have, in their reliance on the relative incapacity of the rest of mankind, acquired for themselves a reputation for profundity very similar to the reputation for sanctity possessed by theologians.
    —G.C. (Georg Christoph)

Theoretically, we know that the world turns, but in fact we do not notice it, the earth on which we walk does not seem to move and we live on in peace. This is how it is concerning Time in our lives. And to render its passing perceptible, novelists must... have their readers cross ten, twenty, thirty years in two minutes.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)
