Frecuencia Latina - Broadcasting Growth

Broadcasting Growth

At the beginning, Channel 2 only broadcast in Lima, to the north up to Huacho and to the south down to Chincha. Afterward, the channel decided to install their first transmitters in Ica in 1987. This allowed them to start installing more transmitters and branches all over the country. In 1990, they started broadcasting via satellite PanAmSat to reach all Peru using cutting edge technology. From then on, the channel has been trying to become the channel with the highest broadcasting coverage in Peru. Frecuencia Latina remains a competitor against other Peruvian TV networks and also is transmitted on satellite throughout South America. The channel is also webcast on the Internet and can be viewed globally via its website.
