Franklin University

Founded in 1902, Franklin University is the third-largest private university in Ohio. Classes are taught at five Midwest locations in Ohio and Indiana, as well as online. The university was founded to serve the needs of adult students, and has since grown to become Central Ohio's foremost educator of working adults.

Franklin was chosen by the U.S. Department of Education as one of the first 15 colleges to participate in a pilot program allowing unlimited distance education, and the United States Army chose Franklin University as one of the original 29 institutions it selected to participate in the delivery of distance education to soldiers.
