Franklin Regional School District

Franklin Regional School District is a midsized, suburban public school district located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, serving Murrysville and the neighboring towns of Delmont and Export. Franklin Regional School District encompasses approximately 38 square miles (98 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 22,264 people. According to District officials, in school year 2007-08, Franklin Regional School District provided basic educational services to 3,784 pupils through the employment of 265 teachers, 132 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 18 administrators. Franklin Regional School District received more than $12.3 million in state funding in school year 2007-08.
