Fortune Lounge was one of the first online casino groups to host its players at land-based sporting and lifestyle events around the world, taking in the Monaco Grand Prix, the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Las Vegas and the Bahamas. These events often include additional giveaways, including cash, casino credits and cars. Fortune Lounge has hosted five International Casino Games events, which is its biggest series of land-based promotions.

Famous quotes containing the word events:
“By the power elite, we refer to those political, economic, and military circles which as an intricate set of overlapping cliques share decisions having at least national consequences. In so far as national events are decided, the power elite are those who decide them.”
—C. Wright Mills (1916–1962)
“When the world was half a thousand years younger all events had much sharper outlines than now. The distance between sadness and joy, between good and bad fortune, seemed to be much greater than for us; every experience had that degree of directness and absoluteness which joy and sadness still have in the mind of a child”
—Johan Huizinga (1872–1945)
“Most events recorded in history are more remarkable than important, like eclipses of the sun and moon, by which all are attracted, but whose effects no one takes the trouble to calculate.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
