Foreign relations of the Republic of Macedonia are the efforts made by the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs abroad in the interests of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The Ministry remains dedicated to increased Macedonian inclusion in international organizations, increased recognition by other nations, and assisting in global counter-terrorism operations, in addition to whatever diplomatic needs may arise. These include frequent disagreements with Greece over a variety of issues including the name and flag of Macedonia. Standard bilateral relations also fall under the purview of the Ministry.
