The Faroese Women's Football League is an association football league in the Faroe Islands. Women's football teams are relatively new in the Faroes, only dating back to the 1980s. Recently, they have received the support of former clubs which are now helping them gain further popularity.
Women's teams in the Faroes are not easy to find, because the few women's teams that exist always play under the first of the men's teams. There are only six teams in the best division (1. Deild), and six in the second division (2. Deild).

Of a silent crowd walking under a wall,

All moving the same way.”

“He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven no harm shall touch you. In famine he will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and shall not fear destruction when it comes. At destruction and famine you shall laugh, and shall not fear the wild animals of the earth. For you shall be in league with the stones of the field, and the wild animals shall be at peace with you.”
—Bible: Hebrew, Job 5:19-23.
