She has Italian origins : her great-grandfather has Italian origins, he is Sicilian. Bertotti was born María Florencia Bertotti Baleirón to Gustavo Bertotti, a jeweler, and María Baleirón, a psychology teacher. She has an older sister, Clara Bertotti, who is a lawyer. Her parents divorced when Bertotti was seven.
In 1999 she started dating Guido Kaczka, an Argentine actor. They got married on 2 December 2006 and Flor gave birth to their son on 10 July 2008. The couple divorced in 2010 and then Flor started a relationship with an actor called Federico Amador. The've been living together for 3 years.
