Famous quotes containing the words financial, action, task, force and/or money:

For the merchant, even honesty is a financial speculation.
    Charles Baudelaire (1821–1867)

Though with their high wrongs I am struck to the quick,
Yet with my nobler reason ‘gainst my fury
Do I take part. The rarer action is
    In virtue than in vengeance.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

To find a form that accommodates the mess, that is the task of the artist now.
    Samuel Beckett (1906–1989)

On some shining tomorrow a psychoanalyst may be put into the box to prove that perjury is simply a compulsion neurosis, like beating time with the foot at a concert or counting the lampposts along the highway.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

The best time to start giving your children money is when they will no longer eat it. Basically, when they don’t put it in their mouths, they can start putting it in their bank.
    Barbara Coloroso (20th century)
