Divisions

Fife Constabulary is divided into three Territorial Divisions; Western Division, Central Division, and Eastern Division.

Western Division has a population of approximately 133,000 and its Divisional HQ is in Dunfermline. It is home to the Scottish Police College at Tulliallan Castle, Kincardine-on-Forth. Western Division is headed by a Chief Superintendent and a Superintendent.

Central Division has its HQ in Kirkcaldy. It is the smallest of the three Divisions but the most densely populated with 148,000 residents. Central Division is headed by a Chief Superintendent and a Superintendent.

Eastern Division is the largest of the three but has the smallest population of some 69,000. Major concentrations of population are Cupar, home to the Divisional HQ, and St Andrews. Eastern Division is headed by a Superintendent and a Chief Inspector.
