Reserve Team
Cartagena FC acts as FC Cartagena's reserve team since 2011. It was founded in 1919 and plays in Tercera División. Before the economic crisis that hit the club in the 90's, it was the main club in city.
In the past, other sides such as Cartagena Promesas and FC Cartagena-La Unión were the club's B-team.

Famous quotes containing the words reserve and/or team:
“In a democracy—even if it is a so-called democracy like our white-élitist one—the greatest veneration one can show the rule of law is to keep a watch on it, and to reserve the right to judge unjust laws and the subversion of the function of the law by the power of the state. That vigilance is the most important proof of respect for the law.”
—Nadine Gordimer (b. 1923)
“I doubt if men ever made a trade of heroism. In the days of Achilles, even, they delighted in big barns, and perchance in pressed hay, and he who possessed the most valuable team was the best fellow.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
