Faqirwali

Faqirwali (Urdu: فقِيروالى‎), is a town of Bahawalnagar District in the Punjab province of eastern Pakistan. The nearest sub-district to the north is Haroonabad and to the south is Fort Abbas. It is a small town and its population is about 30,000 thousand. The occupation of most people is trading. The literacy rate is very low. There are just about 15 schools and colleges in this city. There is only one police station in the city which is located on eastern end of the city. There are two main hospitals in the city. Growth rate of faqirwali is very high. People prefer other cities for education on faqirwali. Many students go to nearby cities like Haroonabad and bahawalnager for studies.
