Personal Life
In an interview, Moretti once stated that he believes "marriage is not anything that will secure the future of your relationship," Moretti is also an enthusiastic artist; he has multiple examples of his artwork at The Strokes' website, including a portrait of bandmate Nick Valensi.
He is fluent in Portuguese. His parents and brother live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he visits them twice a year. Moretti was working on a side project during The Strokes' break called Little Joy.
He plays drums for the hip hop artist Har Mar Superstar in his live shows.
In 2002, Moretti began dating actress Drew Barrymore. Their five year relationship ended in 2007. Moretti then dated Little Joy band mate Binki Shapiro from 2007-2011. He has since been dating actress Kristen Wiig as of July 2012.
