European Patent Litigation Agreement - Content

Content

The 2003 draft agreement provides the creation of a "European Patent Judiciary (EPJ)", comprising:

  • a "European Patent Court" competent to decide on infringement relating to patents of EPO member states and including a "European Patent Court of Appeal"; and
  • an "Administrative Committee".

The European Patent Judiciary (EPJ) would make current national patent courts obsolete. However, the EPJ may install regional chambers.

Famous quotes containing the word content:

In America the taint of sectarianism lies broad upon the land. Not content with acknowledging the supremacy as the Diety, and with erecting temples in his honor, where all can bow down with reverence, the pride and vanity of human reason enter into and pollute our worship, and the houses that should be of God and for God, alone, where he is to be honored with submissive faith, are too often merely schools of metaphysical and useless distinctions. The nation is sectarian, rather than Christian.
    James Fenimore Cooper (1789–1851)

Not always can flowers, pearls, poetry, protestations, nor even home in another heart, content the awful soul that dwells in clay.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

The President has paid dear for his White House. It has commonly cost him all his peace, and the best of his manly attributes. To preserve for a short time so conspicuous an appearance before the world, he is content to eat dust before the real masters who stand erect behind the throne.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
