Safety
While Eurocopter continue to make claims regarding the safety of the EC-225, they have been lucky that the two latest emergency landings on water have been made during periods of uncharacteristically benevolent weather conditions. Had the sea state not been as calm on the two occasions during 2012, then it cannot be ignored that there could have been significant loss of life associated with the situations.
