Energy in Bolivia - Renewable Energy Resources

Renewable Energy Resources

However, the potential of decentralized electricity systems (i.e. solar photovoltaics or PV, wind, etc.) for disperse populations was recognized by the government in the Rural Electrification Plan (PLABER). This component established that the service to households, schools and health facilities in areas of low population density would rely on locally available renewable energy sources.

Famous quotes containing the words energy and/or resources:

All my energy and attention were devoted to trying to help her solve her problems. Unfortunately I didn’t have much success.
    Arthur Miller (b. 1915)

Somehow we have been taught to believe that the experiences of girls and women are not important in the study and understanding of human behavior. If we know men, then we know all of humankind. These prevalent cultural attitudes totally deny the uniqueness of the female experience, limiting the development of girls and women and depriving a needy world of the gifts, talents, and resources our daughters have to offer.
    Jeanne Elium (20th century)
