Critical Response
End of the Spear had a mostly negative response among film critics. Rotten Tomatoes Meter, an average of critics' ratings, as of December 26, 2009 had given the movie 41%; 20 positive, 29 negative reviews (avg. rating: 5.2/10).
Box Office Mojo, which also incorporates user ratings, had nearly 2/3 of viewers give the film an 'A' rating. The film won a Crystal Heart Award as well as the Grand Prize for Best Dramatic Feature at the 2005 Heartland Film Festival.
