Early Life
Hashmi was born to a Muslim father and Christian mother in Mumbai. He is the nephew of director, and producer Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. He is the cousin of director Mohit Suri actress and director Pooja Bhatt, actor Rahul Bhatt, and actress Alia Bhatt. Hashmi studied at Sydenham College, Mumbai.
