Elissa Sursara

Elissa Sursara (born 14 February 1988) is an Australian ecologist, conservationist, correspondent, documentary film maker, public figure and occasional actress. She is perhaps best known for her global conservation efforts relating to marine, wildlife and habitat conservation, mediation of extinction, pollution and cruelty to animals. Sursara is widely regarded as an expert voice and advocate for environmental issues and animal rights. She has an extensive international following and is the celebrity ambassador for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the WWF's Earth Hour among other endeavors.
