Elena Baramova is a soprano opera singer who was born in Bulgaria. Baramova's performances have included the role of Aida at Polish National Opera and of Abigaile in Nabucco at Prague State Opera in 2006 and of Turandot at Prage State Opera in 2007. In 2007, she also appeared again as Aida as well as Abigaile at Polish National Opera. She has also appeared in opera theaters in Spain, Berlin, Bulgaria and Estonia.
She graduated and specialized opera singing at the Sofia Music Academy and continued her studies under the guidance of Ghena Dimitrova. She continued her professional studies at Boris Christoff Academy in Rome, Italy, with Mirella Parutto.
Ms. Baramova won various singing prizes:
- 2nd Prize Winner at Rijeka Belcanto 2006 International Opera Competition;
- Diploma from an International competition Julian Gaiare – Pampolna, Spain with Producer Jose Carreras;
- First prize for the best performance of Hungarian and Bulgarian songs – Hungarian Cultural Institute – Sofia;
- Laureate of the competition Hristo Brambarov.
