Famous quotes containing the words members, blue and/or mountains:

“A family with the wrong members in control—that, perhaps, is as near as one can come to describing England in a phrase.”
    —George Orwell (1903–1950)

“Debussy—A pretty girl with one blue eye and one brown one.”
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

“And open field, through which the pathway wound,
And homeward led my steps. Magnificent
The morning rose, in memorable pomp,
    Glorious as e’er I had beheld—in front,
The sea lay laughing at a distance; near,
The solid mountains shone, bright as the clouds,
    Grain-tinctured, drenched in empyrean light;”
    —William Wordsworth (1770–1850)
