EAFF East Asian Cup
East Asian Football Championship is an football competition of East Asian countries and territories, held by the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF). Before the EAFF was founded in 2002, the Dynasty Cup was held between the East Asian top 4 teams, and was regarded as the unofficial East Asian Championship. There is a separate competition for both men (first held in 2003) and women (first held in 2005). There was also a combined points competition in 2005, where the results of the men's and women's teams are added together (not including qualifiers).

Famous quotes containing the words east, asian and/or cup:
“Senta: These boats, sir, what are they for?
Hamar: They are solar boats for Pharaoh to use after his death. Theyre the means by which Pharaoh will journey across the skies with the sun, with the god Horus. Each day they will sail from east to west, and each night Pharaoh will return to the east by the river which runs underneath the earth.”
—William Faulkner (18971962)
“Exploitation and oppression is not a matter of race. It is the system, the apparatus of world-wide brigandage called imperialism, which made the Powers behave the way they did. I have no illusions on this score, nor do I believe that any Asian nation or African nation, in the same state of dominance, and with the same system of colonial profit-amassing and plunder, would have behaved otherwise.”
—Han Suyin (b. 1917)
“I believe that water is the only drink for a wise man: wine is not so noble a liquor; and think of dashing the hopes of a morning with a cup of warm coffee, or of an evening with a dish of tea! Ah, how low I fall when I am tempted by them! Even music may be intoxicating. Such apparently slight causes destroyed Greece and Rome, and will destroy England and America.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
