Duryodhana

In the Hindu epic the Mahābhārata, Duryodhana (दुर्योधन,ధుర్యొధనా,ಧುರ್ಯೋಧನಾ Duryodhana, 'difficult to fight with', his real name was Suyodhana) is the eldest son of the blind king Dhritarashtra by Queen Gandhari, the eldest of the one hundred Kaurava brothers. Emperor of the world (which then meant Emperor of India, or Bharatvarsha as it was then known), he was the cousin and the chief antagonist of the Pandavas.
