Replication For Hunting of Live Animals
Neither drag hunting nor trail hunting involve the hunting of live animals, and as such are suitable for jurisdictions where sports, such as fox hunting, have been banned.
Because of some controversy over trail hunts potentially being fronts for illegal hunting, and to avoid confusion, the Masters of the Draghounds and Bloodhounds Association in the UK has vigorously asserted its rights to the term "drag hunting" or "draghunting". The Masters of the Foxhounds Association has complied with their wishes, and generally uses the term "trail hunting" for the legal activities of its members.

Famous quotes containing the words hunting, live and/or animals:
“...here he is, fully alive, and it is hard to picture him fully dead. Death is thirty-three hours away and here we are talking about the brain size of birds and bloodhounds and hunting in the woods. You can only attend to death for so long before the life force sucks you right in again.”
—Helen Prejean (b. 1940)
“I am convinced, that if all men were to live as simply as I then did, thieving and robbery would be unknown. These take place only in communities where some have got more than is sufficient while others have not enough.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“The alcoholic trance is not just a haze, as though the eyes were also unshaven. It is not a mere buzzing in the ears, a dizziness or disturbance of balance. One arrives in the garden again, at nursery time, when the gentle animals are fed and in all the world there are only toys.”
—William Gass (b. 1924)
