Professional Career
Elmore was drafted in the thirteenth round of the 1961 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. Elmore was also selected in the 31st round of the 1961 AFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. Elmore played for the Redskins during the 1962 season and in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders during the 1963 season.
