Dress Code
Dorrian's requires its patrons to adhere to a strict dress code. Men are required to wear collared shirts, and sneakers are generally frowned upon. Even the bartenders, staff, and doormen are required to dress in khaki pants and button-down shirts.

Famous quotes containing the words dress and/or code:
“Let us not deny it up and down. Providence has a wild, rough, incalculable road to its end, and it is of no use to try to whitewash its huge, mixed instrumentalities, or to dress up that terrific benefactor in a clean shirt and white neckcloth of a student of divinity.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“...I had grown up in a world that was dominated by immature age. Not by vigorous immaturity, but by immaturity that was old and tired and prudent, that loved ritual and rubric, and was utterly wanting in curiosity about the new and the strange. Its era has passed away, and the world it made has crumbled around us. Its finest creation, a code of manners, has been ridiculed and discarded.”
—Ellen Glasgow (18731945)
