In 2010-11, Dmitri Young co-hosted Card Corner Club Radio, a weekly sports card and collectibles show. An avid collector himself, his impressive array of Hall of Fame Rookie cards was featured in a 2011 documentary produced jointly by MLB and Topps called Cardboard Treasures. Dmitri spent the last 13 years accumulating over 500 unblemished rookie cards.
Dmitri is currently the President of The Dmitri D. Young Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization providing baseball and life choices camps for student athletes in Southern California, in particular in Ventura County and with this alma mater, Rio Mesa High School. His foundation is awaiting IRC section 501(c)(3) status.
