DHX Media Vancouver
DHX Media Ltd. is a Canadian media production company formed in 2006 by the merger of the Halifax Film Company and Decode Entertainment.
DHX Media's content library originally has over 2,550 half-hours of its original television titles. It has eight children's series currently in first window broadcast on several cable and broadcast networks in North America and internationally, including Lunar Jim, Bo On The Go! and Poko. Bo On The Go! and other CG (computer) animations are produced by Halifax Film at Electropolis Studios - the children's productions facility near Halifax's Citadel Hill; and Franny's Feet, The Save-Ums and Naturally, Sadie are produced by Decode in Toronto. Its library now consists over 8,550 half-hours of the combined programming after DHX Media closed its acquisition of the Cookie Jar Group for $111 million.
