Dewsbury Rams - Stadium

Stadium

See also Crown Flatt

Dewsbury play their home games at the Tetley's Stadium on Owl Lane in Dewsbury. The current name reflects a sponsorship deal with Tetley's Brewery that's been in place since 2005. Previously the ground was known as 'Ram Stadium' and, before that, 'New Crown Flatt'.

The stadium was opened in 1994 and consists of a covered all-seated North stand opposite a covered all-standing South stand. It has an official capacity of 3,000, in years past extra space was often utilized on the grass banking's behind both sets of posts in the summer. But as of the 2011 season the grass banking's have been closed to spectators for health and safety reasons.
