Moving and Redirecting Category Pages
The only way to move a category page is to manually change all category tags that link to the category, and copy the editable part. There is no automatic way to move a category page in the way one moves an article page. For categories entirely populated through templates (see above) modifying the templates enables all affected articles to be moved to another category, but with the refresh problem mentioned. Almost all category "moves" are made pursuant to a consensus decision at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion.
Do not create intercategory redirects. See Wikipedia:Categories for discussion#Redirecting categories for more on category redirects.

Famous quotes containing the words moving and, moving, category and/or pages:
“We are all talkers
It is true, but underneath the talk lies
The moving and not wanting to be moved, the loose
Meaning, untidy and simple like a threshing floor.”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
“I love eulogies. They are the most moving kind of speech because they attempt to pluck meaning from the fog, and on short order, when the emotions are still ragged and raw and susceptible to leaps.”
—Peggy Noonan (b. 1950)
“I see no reason for calling my work poetry except that there is no other category in which to put it.”
—Marianne Moore (18871972)
“I am carrying out my plan, so long formulated, of keeping a journal. What I most keenly wish is not to forget that I am writing for myself alone. Thus I shall always tell the truth, I hope, and thus I shall improve myself. These pages will reproach me for my changes of mind.”
—Eugène Delacroix (17981863)
