Personal Life
In 2000, Carthy-Deu was in a relationship with politician Eduardo Bhatia. In 2004, they were no longer together. Carthy-Deu married insurance executive Luis Caicedo on July 23, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They divorced two years later.
On October 18, 2009, Carthy-Deu at the age of 43 years, became a mother for the first time when she gave birth to a boy in a San Juan hospital.
