D.C. United - Broadcasting

Broadcasting

Most D.C. United matches are televised on Comcast SportsNet. Dave Johnson handles play by play, and former United player John Harkes does color commentary. Color commentary has previously been provided by Thomas Rongen, Gordon Bradley, Clint Peay, and Garth Lagerway. Select matches are instead broadcast nationally on ESPN2, NBC Sports Network, or in Spanish on Galavisión. All matches (including those not televised) are broadcast via radio on La Nueva in Spanish. Óscar Burgos does play-by-play when Joel Navas and Milton Renderos are does color analysis.

Famous quotes containing the word broadcasting:

We spend all day broadcasting on the radio and TV telling people back home what’s happening here. And we learn what’s happening here by spending all day monitoring the radio and TV broadcasts from back home.
