Beliefs
They accept inspiration of the Bible and reject the doctrines of the Trinity and the immortal soul. They accept Jesus as Messiah and Son of God but believe that the Father is greater. They also teach a literal fallen angel Satan.
Studies in the Scriptures teaches two phases of the Kingdom of God - a spiritual phase, invisible, and an earthly phase.
Oh, the Blessedness! in 1966 addresses the two dates in Charles Taze Russell's prediction - the "beginning of the Master’s second presence" in 1874, and the "times of the Gentiles" end in 1914, recognising as did Russell himself in 1907 and 1916 that the predicted "foretold harvest" of saints did not end in 1914 and still is going on.
They believe in the Restitution of all things, the Restoration of Paradise and the General Resurrection under the Millennial Reign of Christ.

Famous quotes containing the word beliefs:
“The methodological advice to interpret in a way that optimizes agreement should not be conceived as resting on a charitable assumption about human intelligence that might turn out to be false. If we cannot find a way to interpret the utterances and other behaviour of a creature as revealing a set of beliefs largely consistent and true by our standards, we have no reason to count that creature as rational, as having beliefs, or as saying anything.”
—Donald Davidson (b. 1917)
“To a first approximation, the intentional strategy consists of treating the object whose behavior you want to predict as a rational agent with beliefs and desires and other mental states exhibiting what Brentano and others call intentionality.”
—Daniel Clement Dennett (b. 1942)
“Other peoples beliefs may be myths, but not mine.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
