Davisville Subway Yard - Rolling Stock

Rolling Stock

Davisville Yard is home to a small portion of the TTC's revenue rolling stock and some of the Commission's work cars that operate on the Yonge-University-Spadina line. Approximately 50 H5 and T1 subway cars are based at Davisville, although for maintenance record purposes Davisville has no cars allocated to it. Due to the track configuration of the yard, the facility is not able to accommodate most of new Toronto Rocket subway cars. They are generally stored and serviced at the larger Wilson Complex, however they are occasionally stored at Davisville. With the arrival of the TR trains, it is expected that Davisville yard will displace the T1's (including those that service the Sheppard line) to Greenwood as the older H-series trains are decommissioned.

Famous quotes containing the words rolling and/or stock:

On a starred night Prince Lucifer uprose,
Tired of his dark dominion, swung the fiend
Above the rolling ball in cloud part screened,
    George Meredith (1828–1909)

In the case of our main stock of well-worn predicates, I submit that the judgment of projectibility has derived from the habitual projection, rather than the habitual projection from the judgment of projectibility. The reason why only the right predicates happen so luckily to have become well entrenched is just that the well entrenched predicates have thereby become the right ones.
    Nelson Goodman (b. 1906)
