David Hudson (musician)

David Hudson is an Australian Aboriginal musician. He is a member of the Djabugay people of Kuranda, Queensland. His primary musical instrument is didgeridoo, and he also plays guitar. He plays traditional music, as well as more ambient and new age collaborations with musicians from other parts of the world. In 2001 he collaborated with Russ Landau to produce the soundtrack for the second season of Survivor, Survivor: The Australian Outback. Hudson is also a touring instrumentalist for Yanni most recently performing during the 2003-2004 Ethnicity and 2005 Yanni Live! world tours, and appears in the live concert films Tribute, and Yanni Live! The Concert Event.
