Incarnations

Throughout the years of World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, there have been different incarnations of DX.

• First incarnation:
  • Type: Heel Stable
  • Active: August 11, 1997 – March 29, 1998
  • Members: Shawn Michaels (leader), Rick Rude (left in November 1997), Triple H, Chyna
  • Associated members: New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) and Mike Tyson

• Second incarnation:
  • Type: Face Stable (originally Tweeners)
  • Active: March 30, 1998 – July 25, 1999
  • Members: Triple H (leader) (left in March 1999), Chyna (left in January 1999), X-Pac, and the New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn)
  • Associated members: Kane

• Third incarnation:
  • Type: Heel Stable
  • Active: October 25, 1999 – December 12, 2000
  • Members: Triple H (leader), X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn; Gunn left due to injury in February 2000) and Tori
  • Associated members: Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, K-Kwik

• Fourth incarnation:
  • Type: Face Tag team
  • Active: June 12, 2006 – January 7, 2007; August 10, 2009 – March 1, 2010
  • Members: Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
  • Associated members: John Cena, Ric Flair, Christian and Hornswoggle (mascot)
