Famous quotes containing the words cast and, cast, crew, promote and/or exhibit:

By the time a person has achieved years adequate for choosing a direction, the die is cast and the moment has long since passed which determined the future.
    Zelda Fitzgerald (1900–1948)

Hell, covering all with its gloomy vapors, has cast shadows on even the holiest eyes.
    Jean Racine (1639–1699)

The crew was complete: it included a Boots—
A maker of Bonnets and Hoods—
A Barrister, brought to arrange their disputes—
And a Broker, to value their goods.
Lewis Carroll [Charles Lutwidge Dodgson] (1832–1898)

The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts.
    Donald Trump (b. 1946)

Poetry presents indivisible wholes of human consciousness, modified and ordered by the stringent requirements of form. Prose, aiming at a definite and concrete goal, generally suppresses everything inessential to its purpose; poetry, existing only to exhibit itself as an aesthetic object, aims only at completeness and perfection of form.
Richard Harter Fogle, U.S. critic, educator. The Imagery of Keats and Shelley, ch. 1, University of North Carolina Press (1949)
