In the James Bond novel Carte Blanche by Jeffery Deaver, Bond orders a cocktail made with Crown Royal in Chapter 18: "Crown Royal, ice, a double, please. Add a half-measure of triple sec, two dashes of bitters (later specified as Angostura) and a twist of orange peel."
