Compromised Accounts
Card account information is stored in a number of formats. Account numbers – formally the Primary Account Number (PAN) – are often embossed or imprinted on the card, and a magnetic stripe on the back contains the data in machine readable format. Fields can vary, but the most common include:
- Name of card holder
- Account number
- Expiration date
- Verification/CVV code

Famous quotes containing the words compromised and/or accounts:
“He had kind eyes and hands
and was a friend of sorrow.
Thus they were married.
After all he had compromised her.”
—Anne Sexton (19281974)
“No common-place is ever effectually got rid of, except by essentially emptying ones self of it into a book; for once trapped in a book, then the book can be put into the fire, and all will be well. But they are not always put into the fire; and this accounts for the vast majority of miserable books over those of positive merit.”
—Herman Melville (18191891)
