Crappie
Crappies ( /ˈkræpiː/ or /ˈkrɒpiː/) are a genus, Pomoxis, of freshwater fish in the sunfish family Centrarchidae. There are two species, the type species Pomoxis anularis, the white crappie, and the black crappie, P. nigromaculatus. Both species are popular game fish.
