Fast Bowling Clinic
On November 2012, McDermott announced news of opening a fast-bowling clinic aimed at honing the skills of young and upcoming pace bowlers.
The new initiative called PACE Bowling Australia, aims to serve young bowlers by integrating technology and video analysis alongside technical inputs. He aims to examine the physical strength and deficiencies of teenage fast bowlers, while redeveloping their actions to avoid injuries. He also hoped to branch out and emphasise on all the aspects needed to make a complete cricketer.
He will begin his new venture in Sydney from 11 to 14 November, before travelling across the country in his quest to develop the talent pool.
