The Consumer Affairs Victoria vision is "informed and responsible consumers and traders, who know their rights and responsibilities" The goals are:
- Empower consumers
- Create a competitive, fair, and safe trading environment
- Protect vulnerable and disadvantaged consumers
- Optimise our organisational capability.
