Grimsby-born actor Thomas Turgoose, who starred as the lead role character Shaun in the film "This is England" and the TV follow-up's "This Is England '86" and "This Is England '88, is a supporter of the club. He appeared as a guest on Sky show Soccer AM in 2007 sporting a Grimsby Town shirt.
