The Communist Party of India (CPI) (Hindi: भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी Bhāratīya Kamyunisṭa Pārṭī) is a far-left political party in India. But the Communist Party of India (Marxist), which separated from the CPI, claims that the party was founded in 1920.
